The City of Reading is accepting applications for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic and Firefighter/EMT. Due to COVID-19, paper applications are not available at city hall. All applicants must apply online during the application period.
Applicants for Paramedic must be a Pennsylvania EMT-P, PHRN, National Registry Paramedic, or currently enrolled in an accredited paramedic program. Applicants must also be certified and eligible for Eastern PA EMS Council Medical Command at time of appointment.
