A man was shot several times during a domestic related shooting that took place at approximately 11:56am on Sunday, May 21, in the 300 block of Bridge Street, said the Reading Police Department in a statement Sunday night.
According to preliminary information the incident was between a stepfather and stepson. Police say both parties appeared to have fired shots at each other.

The stepfather was shot several times and is being treated at Reading Hospital, his condition was not provided. Investigators say it appears he initiated the confrontation, and charges are pending.
Police added that no other information is available at this time.
