Attempted Burglary Suspects Punch Hole in Cabela’s Building

Tilden Township Police Department are asking for the public’s help to identify two people who attempted to punch a hole through concrete on the Cabela’s building in Hamburg.

According to police, a dark colored vehicle entered the Cabala’s parking lot from the north entrance on May 4th at about 03:46am. The vehicle drove around the lot for a minute or two before driving behind the building to the employee parking lot.

At that time, the vehicle parked in a parking space in the employee parking lot. Two people exited the vehicle and approached the building carrying a large duffel bag.

The two attempted to punch a hole through the concrete structure of the building with unknown tools. Police say the two were able to get through the first layer of concrete but were unsuccessful at getting through the interior layer.

At approximately 4:18am, they were seen on surveillance walking back to their vehicle and exiting the Cabela’s property.
