The Cumru Township Police Detectives are investigating an armed robbery of the Speedway, located at 2336 Lancaster Pike, within Cumru Township.
On Tuesday, January 14th, 2020 at approximately 8:54 pm, the Cumru Township Police were dispatched to the Speedway, for an armed robbery, which had just occurred.
Investigating officers describe the suspect as a tall black male, approximately 6 foot, with a thin build, and facial hair, wearing a dark hoodie, dark pants, and dark footwear.
According to Police, the robber entered the Speedway at about 8:52 pm and placed a bag on the counter requesting money. The man had a semi-automatic firearm under his outerwear, which was observed by the Speedway employee.
The man took an undisclosed amount of money and placed it inside a bag. The man then fled on foot through the Speedway parking lot, and proceeded west on Ardmore Avenue.
