Fleetwood police investigating $20,000 fraud case at Lowe’s in Spring Township

The Fleetwood Police Department is investigating a case of access device fraud involving more than $20,000 in unauthorized purchases made at the Lowe’s store on Shillington Road in Spring Township.

According to police, the fraudulent activity occurred between April 22 and May 1, 2025. Orders were placed by phone using a construction business credit card and later picked up in person by an individual not affiliated with the business. Authorities say the suspect, who identified themselves as Ventura Polanco, is believed to have collected one or more of the orders.

Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect and are seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual.

Crime Alert Berks County is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Tips can be submitted anonymously by calling 1-877-373-9913, using the ALERTBERKS app, or texting “ALERTBERKS” followed by the tip to 847411. More information is available at alertberks.org.
