A Philadelphia man has been arrested for Murder in connection with the February 20 shooting that occurred in the 200 block of West Greenwich Street, the Reading Police Department announced Thursday evening.

The shooting resulted in the deaths of José Ventura-Jiménez, 18 years old, and a 17-year-old male juvenile (name not released).
The investigation led by Criminal Investigator Ryan Crampsie resulted in an arrest warrant being issued against NyJee Jefferson of Philadelphia for First Degree Murder, Third Degree Murder and lesser included charges.
Police say Jefferson was taken into custody on February 20, in Philadelphia on an unrelated Parole Violation warrant.
He is currently in custody in Philadelphia County pending arraignment on these homicide charges.
