A second suspect, 32 year old Xavier Concepción, was arrested Wednesday in the fatal shooting of Victor Aguirre Jr., Reading Police said in a news release Thursday afternoon.
According to the Reading Police Department Criminal Investigations Division, Xavier Concepción was taken into custody on July 28, 2021, at his residence in Leesport, with the assistance of the Reading Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police, and Northern Berks Regional Police Department and is currently being held at Berks County Prison.
In December of 2020, first responders were called to the 300 block of Church Street. Upon arrival, they found the victim, 18 year old Victor Aguirre Jr., hanging out the side of a vehicle, shot multiple times.
The investigation led by Criminal Investigator Ryan Crampsie resulted in an arrest warrant for Xavier Concepción, for 1st & 3rd Degree Murder as well as related Murder Charges.
A second suspect, Ramses Miller, 18 years old, was arrested on April 22, 2021, in connection to the investigation and is currently being held in Lehigh County Prison.
