Police Looking for Water Truck Stolen from 222 Construction Site

10/2/20 – Police have confirmed the water truck has been recovered.

Northern Berks Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 1997 Ford “F-800” Water Truck, stolen from the 222 (Allentown Pike) and Route 73 construction project in Maidencreek Township.

Police describe the truck (PA# YXT-1712) as having a Red cab, Yellow Water Tank on the back, and J.D. Eckman Inc. written on the side of the cab.

The truck was stolen from the Maidencreek Township construction site sometime between Friday 9/18/2020 6pm, and Monday September 21, 2020 9am.

Investigators say the vehicle looks similar to the one in the photo provided, but older.
