A Reading man is facing drug trafficking charges after a kilo of cocaine and other items were seized during a search at his home Friday morning, according to the Berks County District Attorney’s Office.
Patrick Bogay Clark, 28, of the 900 block of Muhlenberg Street, was arrested and charged with possession, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Authorities say Clark is awaiting arraignment.
The arrest follows a months-long investigation launched in January by the Berks County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force. Investigators obtained a sealed search warrant for Clark and his residence, which was executed around 9:15 a.m. on April 4.
During the search, detectives seized one kilo of cocaine—estimated to have a street value of $100,000—along with two functional digital scales, numerous new plastic packets used for packaging, records of drug sales, and a cell phone.
Officials note that the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Berks County Detectives at 610-478-7171.
