UPDATE: Suspect in RACC campus shooting caught at JFK Airport attempting to flee, Police say
Police in Reading responded to a shooting Wednesday afternoon on the campus of Reading Area Community College, just before 2pm on South Front Street near Weitz Hall. The campus was initially locked down for roughly an hour, but has since been lifted.
According to initial reports, one person was shot in the head and transported to the trauma center at Reading Hospital.
As of 4pm the scene was still active with Police centering their investigation on the street. Police have not released any additional information at this time.
