State Police seek public’s help in identifying Barto gas station burglary suspect

The Pennsylvania State Police Troop L – Reading Barracks is reaching out to the public for help in identifying a male suspect involved in a burglary at the Shell Gas Station located at 1325 PA-100, Barto, Berks County. The incident occurred during closed hours on November 17, 2023.

According to authorities, the suspect unlawfully entered the establishment and made off with lottery tickets and cigarette cartons, resulting in an estimated loss of $9,100.

The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras driving a White Subaru Legacy 4 door sedan. He was described as wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants, and white/black sneakers.

Pennsylvania State Police are urging anyone with information regarding the incident or the suspect’s identity to contact the PSP Reading Barracks at 610-378-4225.
