The Reading Police Department is investigating a shooting that has left one person dead following a home invasion Christmas Eve morning in the 1900 block of Lorraine Road.
Police and EMS were dispatched to the Autumn Park Apartment Complex around 7:00am and found an adult male deceased inside a residence.

Through the investigation, police say the male was shot during a reported home invasion and robbery by a person inside the residence.
Police added that there is no additional suspect information at this time and there is no known risk to public safety.
