Suspect sought in Amity Township gun shop burglary

Police in Amity Township are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a commercial burglary that occurred at Shoot Angry Gun Shop, 1 Park Lane in Douglassville, on January 15, 2023 at 4:47am.

According to police, the actor attempted to pry a window open with a pry bar but was unsuccessful. He then smashed the glass window of the front door and made entry by climbing in. Once inside the actor only took one bolt action rifle.

The actor was wearing a hoodie, full facemask, gloves and a headlamp. The actor was also carrying a backpack with the word DaVita on it. DaVita appears to be a company dealing with kidney care/dialysis treatments.

Anyone with information pertaining to this incident or can identify the subject depicted in the photos is asked to submit an anonymous tip to Crime Alert Berks County.
