Two men are facing multiple felony charges after law enforcement agencies seized large quantities of narcotics, firearms and cash during coordinated search warrants executed in Reading and Shillington, Pennsylvania State Police announced.
According to a public information release issued by State Police Troop L, investigators from the Troop L Vice Unit, the Berks County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force and the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force had been investigating a large-scale drug trafficking operation in Berks and Schuylkill counties for several years.
On June 4, members of the Pennsylvania State Police, Reading Police Department, Berks County Drug Task Force and Schuylkill County Drug Task Force executed search warrants at apartments in the 00 block of North Fourth Street in Reading and the 00 block of South Miller Street in Shillington.
Authorities said the searches resulted in the seizure of $6,963 in cash, 11 firearms, including a shotgun reported stolen, and an armored plate carrier. Investigators also recovered significant quantities of suspected narcotics, including heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, fentanyl pills, ecstasy pills and processed THC-infused edibles.
Among the drugs seized were more than 3.7 kilograms of methamphetamine, 411 grams of heroin, 176 grams of fentanyl, 177 grams of cocaine, 642 fentanyl pills, 445 ecstasy pills, 473 grams of marijuana, 100 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 24 grams of crack cocaine, 210 bags of heroin and 530 bags of THC edibles, according to state police.
State police identified one of the defendants as Keith Culbert, 45. Investigators said Culbert was charged with seven counts of possession with intent to deliver, 11 counts of persons not to possess firearms and related offenses.
A second defendant, Eddie Feliciano, 42, was charged with four counts of possession with intent to deliver, seven counts of persons not to possess firearms and related offenses.
Additional details regarding court proceedings and the specific circumstances surrounding the investigation were not immediately available. Authorities did not announce any additional arrests.
