The alleged incidents occurred at the novelty store Najarian operated within the Berkshire Mall. Investigators believe Najarian exploited his position at the store to build trust with his victim before engaging in unlawful encounters.

At the time of the initial arrest, police expressed concerns that other victims might exist and encouraged community members to come forward with information.

Chief of Police John G. Phillips emphasized the department’s commitment to ensuring the safety of the community. “The Wyomissing Police Department remains vigilant in its efforts to investigate and prosecute individuals who exploit others, particularly vulnerable members of our community,” Phillips said.

Authorities are reminding parents and guardians to speak openly with their children about personal safety and how to recognize potentially dangerous situations.

The investigation into Najarian’s activities remains active. Law enforcement officials are working to identify and support any additional victims.

As in every criminal case, the charges against Najarian are accusations. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
