The Wyomissing Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a person of interest in connection with the theft of a playing card valued at $8,000.
According to police, the theft occurred Aug. 28 at a retail store in the Berkshire Mall, 1665 State Hill Road.
Police released an image of an individual wearing a red hat who investigators are seeking to identify. The individual is considered a person of interest in the investigation.
Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information about their identity is asked to contact the Wyomissing Police Department at 610-375-6102 or submit a tip through the department’s Crimewatch page.
Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Alert Berks by calling 877-373-9913 or texting 847411 and beginning the message with “ALERTBERKS.”
The investigation remains active. The case is listed under reference number 39-26-6929.
