Albright College has received a transformative gift from Eric and Kristen Bachman to establish the Bachman Family Scholarship Fund. This visionary partnership will empower the next generation of business leaders, creating a lasting legacy of innovation and leadership.
With deep roots in the Berks County community, the Bachman family exemplifies a legacy of hard work, integrity, and excellence—values that have guided four generations of entrepreneurship and community support.
“We are deeply grateful for Eric and Kristen’s commitment to Albright College,” says Interim President Debra Townsley. “With the Bachman family’s generous investment and Albright’s commitment to academic excellence, this initiative will help future business leaders and entrepreneurs thrive, making a lasting impact in Berks County and beyond.”
The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships annually in perpetuity to students at the College, majoring in business. The awarding of the scholarship will begin in academic year 2026, and a preference will be given to students who have graduated from Governor Mifflin or Wilson high schools in Berks County, PA.
Building on their own transformative gift, the Bachman family is extending an invitation to local business owners and community leaders to partner in this impactful initiative. “We are passionate about empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs,” says Eric Bachman. “Together, we can create a legacy of exceptional business leadership that will inspire and shape our community for generations to come.”
The Bachman gift is the largest individual gift to Albright College since 2016 and one of the top ten individual gifts to Albright of all time.
