While dine-in services and business hours may have changed, one thing that hasn’t is the history and charm of restaurants across Pennsylvania.
Whether it’s a historical building, exciting visitors, memorabilia or décor, Keystone Cuisine brings intriguing restaurants right into your living room.
Each episode starts with a tour of the establishment, giving viewers a chance to get to know the people and the story, how it came to be, events they hold, and the history behind the building, menu, and décor.
Then, chefs show off their most popular dishes, talk about how they’re made and why they make the restaurant so special.
On August 23, 2020 at 9pm, PCN will be featuring Bixler’s Lodge in Lower Alsace Township. Bixler’s Lodge is set in a charming building that used to be a barn before the Bixler family bought the property and made it into a restaurant.
Now, many years later, Brain Hartman and his team run the establishment for their many regulars and newcomers.
