Brandywine Heights High School to host special concert for senior citizens

The Brandywine Heights Area School District invites local senior citizens to a free afternoon of music, memories, and community at our Senior Citizen Spring Concert — a heartfelt performance by the students of Brandywine Heights High School.

The Senior Citizen Spring Concert will be held Friday, April 25 at 2:45 PM in the Brandywine Heights High School Auditorium. Free admission and light refreshments served. Open to senior citizens, BHASD faculty, and staff.

This special event is the school’s way of saying thank you to the generations who came before — a chance to gather, reconnect, and enjoy the incredible talent of our student musicians in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

“We’re so proud to invite our senior community members into our school for this concert,” said Gina Oberto-Weller, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent. “It’s a small gesture of appreciation, and one that means a lot to our students and staff alike.”

The performance will feature a variety of ensembles, including the Concert Band, Concert Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Singers, and Treble Choir — offering a little something for every musical taste.

The community is also welcome to attend the Evening Spring Concert on Tuesday, April 29 at 7:00 PM, with a livestream available at youtube.com/live/YOJ29UrmtXE?feature=share.

Both concerts are free and open to the public. Join in celebrating the joy of music — and the people who make our community so special.
