Lights, camera, action! Humane Pennsylvania has announced it will be hosting a series of outdoor movies and live music events this fall at the Danielle Ruiz Murphy Center Dog Park in Exeter Township.
Humane Pennsylvania CEO, Karel Minor, planned the event as an opportunity for families to have fun safely. “So many of us have missed events we look forward to because of COVID this year. Humane Pennsylvania is excited to use our dog park in Exeter Township to offer affordable events to the community!”
The first event is set for September 12th with Trolls World Tour at 7:30pm. Spike’s Sunday Funday Live Music is set for September 27th and October 18th, from 1-4pm.
Kids Halloween Party & Tilly’s Terrific Movie Night presents Hotel Transylvania, Friday, October 30th beginning at 6pm. Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday, October 31st at 7:30pm. Dreamworks Up, Friday, November 6th, beginning at 7:30pm.
Minor says the dog park is a perfectly situated space that mimics an amphitheater.
Tilly’s Terrific Movie Nights will feature food trucks, beer, wine, and raffles, with all money raised supporting animals in care, as well as community programs and initiatives. “We are excited to team up with local businesses that will be offering delicious bites and beverages for our attendees to enjoy!”
Admission tickets are $2 per person available online and at the door. Guests can also have the opportunity to upgrade their admission seats to a personal section in one of the first 3 rows. For a $40 upgrade pass guests receive a premium, front row of socially distant seating (limit of 6 people per section).
In addition, CDC guidelines for social distancing and wearing masks will be required, when not seated. “The designated spaces in the first 3 rows are socially distant to comply with regulations, and we require those in the open seating to space themselves out accordingly.”
The Danielle Ruiz Murphy Center Dog Park is located at 503 South Center Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
