The Reading Science Center will host a family-friendly “Unveiling Party” on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with free admission for all visitors.
This special event marks the debut of over eight new interactive exhibits, including one made by Carpenter Technology, and a refreshed museum floor plan designed to inspire curiosity and creativity in young minds. These exciting new exhibits will benefit all visitors, as well as enhance the educational experience for school field trips throughout the coming academic year.
“Carpenter Technology is proud to support the Reading Science Center in fostering innovation and education in our community. A special thanks to Habitat for Humanity for their invaluable contribution to our exhibit, helping us bring this vision to life and inspire future generations,” said Jeanette Hogan, Sr. Metallurgical Project Manager at Carpenter Technology.
The event will feature a hands-on Paper Circuit activity from 12 PM to 2 PM, where children can build their own circuits and explore the wonders of electricity. The RSC will also showcase one of the day’s featured exhibits, the Glow Wall, an exciting exhibit that promises to captivate visitors of all ages. Reading Science Center is located at 645 Penn Street.
