The Art and Craft Gallery of Hamburg is hosting Dr. Olapeju Simoyan as its featured artist for July 2024. Dr. Simoyan, a Reading area resident known for her work as a physician, author, musician, and photographer, will showcase her captivating collection of wildlife and travel photography throughout the month at the gallery’s 320 State Street location.
The exhibition’s highlight will be an artist reception and talk hosted by Dr. Simoyan on July 27 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. During this engaging session, she will share insights into the world of giraffes, drawing from her experiences capturing these majestic mammals while providing an intimate look into her creative process.
Attendees will also be able to participate in a hands-on activity led by Dr. Simoyan, designed to foster creativity. This free, public event promises an enlightening and immersive experience for all.

Dr. Simoyan’s exhibition will run through July 31, 2024. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
