Back for its 7th year, the Antietam Valley Community Partnership will once again host their annual, Golumpki or Chili, community dinner. The all you can eat affair offers guests chili or golumpkis, a drink, coffee, and dessert for just $10 in advance or $12.50 at the door.
Prepared by a dedicated group of volunteers, guests are welcome to eat in or take out. The community dinner will be held 11am – 2pm. Proceeds from the dinner will fund AVCP scholarships, offered to high school seniors residing in the Antietam Valley.
Four scholarships go to students residents of the Antietam Valley, attending public or private schools, who have performed exceptional community service and one, the Kerry Hoffman / Antietam Pride scholarship, is awarded to an Antietam student who has demonstrated school spirit in their time at Antietam.
The community service scholarship has an application and interview process being chosen by the AVCP committee. The Kerry Hoffman / Antietam Pride scholarship is chosen by the staff of Antietam.
The cast of the Antietam Spring Musical will perform selections from this year’s play, Sister Act, at the community dinner. Tickets for the musical will be on sale on site.
Tickets are available in advance by contacting AVCP by email at info@antietamvalley.org. The last day for advance ticket purchases is Friday, February 28, end of business day.
