GRCA Annual Picnic Rescheduled Due to Threat of Bad Weather

Due to the predicted flash flooding, The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance is anticipate not having access to the field for their home run derby and other activities. With the forecasted rain, the picnic rain date has been activated and the date of the picnic has now been rescheduled to Tuesday, August 20th.

While the Reading Phillies are away, the Chamber will play. The annual chamber picnic was scheduled to take place at FirstEnergy Stadium on Tuesday, August 13th.

Activities include a homerun derby with crowned homerun king or queen, mix and mingle on the pool deck, pitch or practice golf putting, and letting Phillies ambassadors show off where Mike Schmidt’s locker was back in his rookie days.

Tickets include an expanded picnic buffet menu, unlimited beer & wine and non-alcoholic beverages. Returning by popular demand: Back2Life – voted Best of the Main Line, this acoustic trio is known as a premier Philly dance party band. Appeals to all audiences with music from swing to funk to R&B or most notable their extensive 80’s and classic rock songs. The music doesn’t stop – when Back2Life takes a break a DJ takes over to keep you moving throughout the evening.
