Visitors to Blue Marsh Lake take note, the cove in front of the dam will be closed for “official use” beginning Saturday, September 19, 2020.
The cover is closed as Army Corps of Engineers hold boat operators training in the area.

Specific details were not immediately released by officials. ‘Boats Keep Out’ buoys have been placed to mark the closure. The area will be closed until Wednesday, September 23, 2020.
In addition, visitors should also note the Lower Stilling Basin Parking Lot and Trail Access remains closed until further notice for the Western Berks Water Authority Pipeline Construction.
