The City of Reading celebrated the completion of the 800 Penn Street Courtyard rehabilitation project in Downtown Reading Monday morning with a small dedication ceremony.
The project, which began in March of 2023 included the addition of native trees, benches for limited gatherings, stamped concrete for ADA and commerce, and a new iconic “READING” sign for tourist appeal.
“The transformation of this courtyard was not just a simple upgrade, but a thoughtful project designed to address various remodeling related concerns” said Mayor Moran during the ceremony.
