The Residence at Village Greens will celebrate its grand opening on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Berks County’s newest senior living community at 4400 Haines Street in Sinking Spring will hold the ceremony from 2 to 5 p.m.
“We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of The Residence at Village Greens, where nearly two years of hard work since our ground-breaking ceremony have led to this moment,” said Terri Sanelli, Executive Operations Officer. “We will open the doors to our new residents and their families, inviting them to experience a vibrant community.”
The state-of-the-art, 130,000-square-foot building sits on land that is considered a historical haven in the region. The nearby Mull Mansion was built in 1802 and still stands today.
The senior living community’s 131 units will include 60 Independent Living, 51 Personal Care and 20 Memory Care apartments.
“It is truly amazing to see the community come to life,” Sanelli said. “We have 25 residents and two furry friends moving in during the month of September. Our beautiful, new building features amazing areas for residents and family members to gather to socialize and meet new friends.”
The Residence at Village Greens features spacious private residences in a variety of layouts. The community offers Independent Living without a buy-in option. Some other amenities include restaurant-style dining, a fitness center, theater, beauty salon, sun rooms, a golf putting green and large community rooms. The senior living community has cutting-edge safety and convenience technology.
The grand opening ceremony will include residents, family members, local community leaders and members of the IntegraCare team. Tours will be offered and the celebration will include drinks, hors d’oeuvres and live music.
