PK Benefits Consulting works with more than 500 community employers and has a proven track record of successfully helping to ease the burden of benefits administration. PK was chosen as the honoree due to the community contributions of founding partner Mark Kunkle and VP of Employee Benefits, Andrew Schreffler. Mark Kunkle is a recognized self-funding expert, routinely speaking at national benefits consulting conferences. He sits on Highmark Blue Shield’s Elite Advisory Council, Capital Blue Cross’s Advisory Council, and Benecon’s Advisory Council. Marks believes in community, having served as a board member for various organizations including Dayspring Homes and Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. Andrew Schreffler has served on the Picture Berks Healthy planning committee since 2022. In this capacity he has been a vital part of the event, helping to reach out to sponsors and raise funds for BCHC.

BCHC’s mission is to improve access and health of our community through the delivery of coordinated comprehensive services for all residents of Berks County regardless of their economic status. At Picture Berks Healthy, BCHC will celebrate there work in the community. The organization will also cast a vision for 2025 and beyond, which includes opening new sites and expanding access.

Returning to Picture Berks Healthy this year is the BCHC Staff Table Contest! Members of BCHC staff create display tables around different health and wellness topics that provide education to our guests. Along with the education is a friendly competition as attendees vote for their favorite table, with the winning team receiving a small prize. Attendees will also get to view submissions in the third annual Picturing A Health Community Art Contest.
