Prospectus Associates, Inc., a longstanding nonprofit organization serving individuals with disabilities in Berks County, has announced a major rebranding initiative. While its legal name will remain Prospectus Associates, the organization will now operate under the new, more streamlined identity of ProBerco in daily operations.
This change marks a pivotal moment for the organization, which has been serving the community since 1977, originally as Prospectus Berco. According to the announcement, the rebranding effort goes beyond a name and logo redesign. It symbolizes a deeper commitment to innovation and excellence, while maintaining the high-quality services that have been its hallmark for decades. The new ProBerco brand will soon be visible on signage, marketing materials, and billboards throughout October and November.
ProBerco provides support services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as those on the autism spectrum. With its roots in Berks County, the nonprofit has been a staple in the local community, helping individuals lead independent, dignified lives. The organization is governed by a volunteer board that includes family members, local business leaders, and other community members.
The new name retains elements of the organization’s history, blending “Prospectus,” which reflects the organization’s vision to see potential in everyone, and “Berco,” a nod to its connection to Berks County. The rebrand underscores ProBerco’s ongoing efforts to highlight the abilities, rather than disabilities, of the people it serves.
As the transition to the new brand unfolds, ProBerco is inviting the community to join in its vision of a world where everyone’s abilities are celebrated.
