The S.P.A.R.K.S. Foundation has announced that Alec Reinert, who has served as the interim executive director, has officially accepted the full-time position.
Alec Reinert brings a wealth of experience and passion for science education to his role. Having successfully led the Foundation since last summer, Reinert’s commitment to fostering hands-on science programs aligns seamlessly with The S.P.A.R.K.S. Foundation’s mission.

The Foundation will remain steadfast in our commitment to growth and educating tens of thousands of students annually across our local communities through innovative, hands-on learning.”
The S.P.A.R.K.S. Foundation provides invaluable hands-on science programs to schools that face financial constraints. The organization firmly believes in the transformative power of inquiry-based education, which has been proven to enhance a child’s understanding and retention of key scientific concepts.

The foundation offers Classroom Visitation Programming (CVP) and assemblies for students K-5 that go beyond traditional classroom instruction, sparking curiosity for science.
Alec Reinert’s leadership has already contributed significantly to the foundation’s growth and success. Under his guidance, The S.P.A.R.K.S. Foundation has continued to expand its reach,
ensuring that more students have access to quality science education irrespective of financial barriers.
