The school year is nearing the end, and tweens and teens may be seeking ways to keep busy, to earn volunteer or community service hours and to gain new experiences during the summer.
United Way of Berks County’s Volunteer Center has shared the 2023 Summer Youth Volunteer Guide to provide information and resources to help fill those needs.
The Youth Guide includes a broad range of diverse youth volunteer opportunities that will add value, build skills, meet needs, encourage teamwork, and provide youth leadership experiences.
Opportunities range from working with kids and teens to seniors, to outdoor experiences, to helping arts or science-related organizations and more.
