A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in the City of Reading sold a Powerball ticket worth $1 million for the Saturday, March 30 drawing.
The ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn, 12-13-33-50-52, but not the red Powerball 23, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding.
Paulino’s Deli & Grocery, 555 North 9th St., Reading, will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
Winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back. Online winnings automatically appear in a player’s account after the claim has been processed. Players may visit palottery.com for more information about how to file a claim.
More than 167,600 other PA Lottery Powerball tickets won prizes of various amounts in Saturday’s drawing, including more than 29,400 tickets purchased with Power Play and more than 12,800 tickets purchased with Double Play. Players should check every ticket, every time.
In Pennsylvania, this recent jackpot run has generated more than $77 million in sales, creating a profit of more than $31 million to benefit older Pennsylvanians.
The jackpot has been rolling since it was last won on January 1, 2024, by a ticket in Michigan that won a prize worth $842.4 million.
The current record jackpot is $2.04 billion, which was sold in California on November 7, 2022. The last time a Powerball jackpot was won in Pennsylvania was on August 3, 2022.
