Brandon Pugh announces run for Mayor of Lyons Borough

Brandon Pugh, a current member of the Lyons Borough Council, has announced his candidacy for mayor in the upcoming municipal election.

A 13-year resident of the borough, Pugh describes himself as a “regular working man candidate” who is committed to serving the town’s 439 residents with what he calls a “make sense approach.” In his announcement, Pugh emphasized his existing familiarity with the borough’s operations and his ongoing efforts to listen to residents’ concerns.

“I know Lyons,” said Pugh. “I know how the borough operates, and I know the residents are hard-working, blue-collar people who want honesty and integrity from their Mayor.”

Pugh, who previously served in the U.S. Army National Guard, said he intends to continue bringing questions and concerns from residents directly to the borough council. He added that his campaign is focused solely on the needs of Lyons, stating, “I don’t serve other municipalities or outside interests, only the borough of Lyons.”

The election will be held in November.
