The United States Postal Service is looking to hire new mail carriers in the region and will host a job fair at the Kutztown Post Office on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon. The event, held at 235 Grimley Street, aims to recruit City Carriers and Rural Carrier Associates to serve the local community.
“These jobs offer applicants a tremendous opportunity to work in the community they may live near,” said USPS spokesman Paul F. Smith.
Interested applicants must meet several basic requirements, including being at least 18 years old—or 16 with a high school diploma—having U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status, passing a criminal background check, and maintaining a safe driving record if applying for a position that requires operating a vehicle.
The Postal Service describes the open roles as fast-paced and rewarding, offering competitive pay, on-the-job training, and opportunities for career advancement.
A second job fair will be held the same day at the Pottstown Post Office from 1 to 3 p.m. for those who may live closer to that area.
