Reading announces city-wide Dumpster Day for residential clean-out on May 17

The City of Reading is organizing a community-wide clean-up effort with its upcoming “Dumpster Day” event, scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2025. From 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., residents will have the opportunity to dispose of bulky household items at designated locations throughout the city.

The initiative is part of the city’s broader effort to promote a cleaner and greener environment, encouraging residents to declutter their homes and neighborhoods.
