Berks County’s own furry forecaster, Patty Pagoda, is ready to make her prediction for the next six weeks ahead.
The 17th annual Patty Pagoda Groundhog Day event will take place Wednesday, February 2, 2022, 7am, at the Pagoda in Reading.
The Pagoda is closed for renovations, so the festivities will take place outside, at the Tori Gate area.
The event is presented by volunteers of the Foundation for the Reading Pagoda, which preserves and operates the Pagoda, and Pagoda-Skyline Incorporated, which preserves and operates the William Penn Memorial Fire Tower; the City of Reading owns both landmarks.
For those who are not able to attend the event, Berks Weekly will be livestreaming the ceremony on our website, berksweekly.com/live, and on the Berks Weekly Facebook page.
The Reading Pagoda is located at 98 Duryea Drive Reading, PA 19602.
