A fisherman on the Schuylkill River in West Reading reportedly discovered a body floating in the water Saturday afternoon, August 19th, around 4:52pm.
Reading Police and Fire Department’s were the first to arrive on-scene, but were later joined by the Berks County Coroner’s Office.

Water rescue crews assist in the recovery, which took place near the Bertolet Fishing Dock in West Reading.
Reading Police on-scene said they are handling the investigation.
