The Reading Public Library has stepped up to assist members of the community order at-home COVID-19 testing kits, which were recently made available by the federal government.
“Similar to last year, when I partnered with the Reading Public Library to assist residents in booking their vaccination appointments, I announced a similar partnership to help residents order their at-home test kits” said Mayor Eddie Morán.
“Testing is undoubtedly one powerful tool in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. We all want to keep our families and loved ones as safe as possible by providing them with tests that will yield accurate results” Morán added.
All four of our library branches have computers, internet/ Wi-Fi connection, along with bilingual assistance to allow residents to receive assistance in ordering the tastings kits.
Melissa Adams, Reading Public Library’s new executive director, concurred. “Staff members at Reading Public Library are always happy to serve members of the community and are ready to help residents order the at-home COVID test kits that are being made available by the federal government. We receive and encourage residents to come to the library to make use of our computers, internet, and trained staff.”
