The Reading School District announced Tuesday that it will celebrate the Boys’ Basketball Team State Championship with a parade and community celebration on Saturday, April 15 from 2:00 – 4:30pm.
The parade will begin at 13th & Union Elementary School with athletes, cheerleaders and coaches.
The team will be joined by youth, alumni players, Mayor Eddie Moran, School Board Members, all escorted in jeeps/trucks down 13th Street.
The parade will conclude at the Geigle for an indoor presentation, expected to begin around 3:30pm.
At the Geigle complex, a short presentation will take place along with performances by the Reading High School dance team and cheerleaders. Following, players will sign autographs, concessions will be available and athletic gear on sale.
