Red Cross Distributing Isaias Cleanup Kits in Muhlenberg

It’s been five days since Tropical Storm Isaias tracked through the region, causing widespread flash flooding.

The Red Cross has more than 60 disaster workers providing care and comfort to those affected by the flooding in the Southeastern Pennsylvania region. They are helping in shelters, serving meals, distributing clean up supplies and providing health services in shelters.

In partnership with Muhlenberg Township, the Red Cross will be distributing clean up kits for residents impacted by the flooding.

Clean up kits can be picked up on Sunday, August 9th, from 1pm – 4pm at the Temple Fire Department, 4963 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA 19560.

The kits, distributed in 5-gallon buckets, contain the following supplies:

  • Broom Head
  • Scrub Head
  • Collapsible Handle
  • Dust Mask
  • Sponge
  • Pair Latex Gloves
  • Pair Work Gloves
  • Large Garbage Bags
