Representative Manny Guzman, District 127, with help from former Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard, gave away 500 turkeys to families and nonprofit organizations in Guzman’s district Thursday afternoon to make sure they will have a Thanksgiving dinner.
Financial support for the event was provided by Pennsylvania Skill.

The event was held in parking lot of Iglesia Pentecostal El Lugar de Refugio at 206 South 9th street.
Representative Guzman has supported efforts to tackle food insecurity in his district. Pennsylvania Skill, which operates legal skill games in the state, backs efforts to help provide food for families in need.
