Got The Nerve? Triathlon celebrates 20th Anniversary with inspirational achievements

On May 18, 2024, Mount Gretna witnessed an extraordinary display of athleticism, determination, and inclusivity as IM ABLE Foundation’s Got the Nerve? Triathlon celebrated its 20th anniversary with resounding success. Organized by TCR Event Management, the event drew in 296 participants from 12 states, including 10 para/adaptive athletes, marking a significant milestone in its two-decade journey.

Tailored for athletes of all levels, the event offered course distances accommodating beginners, elite competitors, and adaptive athletes, ensuring that everyone could participate and thrive. Triathlon enthusiasts had the opportunity to test their mettle in the traditional swim, bike, run format, while others opted for the duathlon (run, bike, run) or aquabike (swim, bike) options, showcasing the versatility and inclusivity of the event.

The festivities extended beyond the racecourse, with vendor booths offering a diverse array of products and services. Participants and volunteers alike were treated to delicious post-race refreshments, replenishing their energy after an exhilarating display of athleticism.

One of the highlights of the event was the post-race award ceremony, where top participants in each race category were recognized for their outstanding achievements and unwavering dedication. From personal milestones to podium finishes, each accolade served as a testament to the triumph of the human spirit and the power of perseverance.
