The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop L, Hamburg station, will be conducting a free child seat safety check-up event on Thursday September 22, 2022 from 2pm to 8pm at the Bridge Church located at 3561 Old Route 22 in Windsor Township.
Trained Child Seat Passenger Safety Technicians will be at the location to check child seats and booster seats to ensure that they are safely installed. Children up to 4 years of age are required to be in a properly secured Child Passenger Restraint System.
Children ages 4 to 8 years old are required to be properly secured in a Child Booster Seat. All drivers, front seat passengers and passengers under the age of 18 years are required to be properly secured in Safety Seat Belt System when in a passenger vehicle.
Those unable to visit the check-up event can contact the PSP Hamburg station at 610-562-6885 to make an appointment to have your Child Passenger Safety Seat checked and installed.
