Get ready for a spooktacular evening of fun and excitement as the Muhlenberg Township Parks & Recreation Department announces the return of the beloved Temple Halloween Parade. A cherished tradition in the Temple Community, this year’s parade promises to be a thrilling event for all ages.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 7th, when the Temple Halloween Parade will kick off at 6:00 PM. In case of rain, the parade has a backup plan on Sunday, October 8th, at 4:00 PM. The parade route will wind its way through the heart of Temple, offering a fantastic spectacle for all to enjoy.
The parade route will take participants and spectators alike on a journey down Sharp Ave., continuing on to Kutztown Rd., where a left turn will lead the procession north on Kutztown Rd. The excitement will then turn onto Mt. Laurel Ave., followed by a left onto Mt. Laurel Ave. The parade will culminate at 7th Avenue, where the festivities will disband.
Expect a cacophony of sounds, as the parade will feature several local high-school bands, the Buccaneer Alumni Band, motorcycle groups, car clubs, and fire trucks from across Berks County. Local businesses have put their creative flair on display with floats designed to captivate the audience, and various community youth groups will bring their infectious energy to the event.
Plan for an evening of entertainment that will last approximately one and a half hours. To ensure you don’t go hungry during the festivities, food vendors will be stationed along the parade route, offering delicious treats to satisfy your cravings.
