Muhlenberg Township is gearing up for its annual Temple Halloween Parade, a beloved tradition in the local community. Organized by the Muhlenberg Township Parks & Recreation Department, this year’s parade promises a night filled with music, fun, and festive entertainment for all ages.
Scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 5th at 6:00 PM, the parade will light up the streets of Temple with a variety of participants, including local high-school bands, the Buccaneer Alumni Band, motorcycle groups, and classic car groups. The route will start on Sharp Avenue, then proceed to Kutztown Road, heading north before turning onto Mt. Laurel Avenue, and finally disbanding at 7th Avenue. The event is expected to last approximately one and a half hours.
In case of inclement weather, the parade will be moved to its rain date on Sunday, October 6th at 4:00 PM. As the parade winds its way through Temple, spectators can enjoy the sights and sounds of fire trucks from across Berks County, creatively designed floats by local businesses, and the spirited participation of community youth groups. Additionally, food vendors will be stationed along the parade route, offering a variety of snacks for parade-goers to enjoy.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to join in the festivities and make the most of this community celebration.
