Additional proposed work is the replacement of the Route 12/Pricetown Road Bridge over Bernhart Creek with a precast reinforced concrete box culvert, drainage improvements, enhanced warning signs and high friction surface treatment on steep downgrades.

Construction is anticipated to begin in mid-2026 with an expected completion in 2027. All schedules are subject to change.

The purpose of the plans display is to introduce the project and receive public input regarding any questions or concerns with the project. It is also an opportunity for the public to review and comment on the project’s potential effect upon cultural resources pursuant to the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation’s 36 CFR Part 800 regulations implementing Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.

For more information on projects occurring or being bid this year, those made possible by or accelerated by the state transportation funding plan (Act 89), or those on the department’s Four and Twelve Year Plans, visit www.projects.penndot.gov.
