PennDOT maintenance forces and private contractors are consistently working on roads in Berks County. To help our readers avoid travel delays, here are a few of the most notable roadwork projects scheduled the next week.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces have scheduled crack sealing in the City of Reading on Hampden Blvd. between North 11th Street and City Line. Lanes will be restricted on both directions with flagging beginning December 17-18, from 7am to 3pm.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces have scheduled crack sealing in Amity Township on 422 between Old Airport Road and West Schuylkill Road. Lanes will be restricted with flagging beginning December 16, from 7am to 3pm.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces have scheduled General roadwork for Jefferson Township on PA 183 between Old Church Road and North Heidelberg Road. Lanes will be restricted with flagging beginning December 14, from 7am to 3pm.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces will be performing pothole patching in Maidencreek Township on 222 between Philadelphia Avenue and County Line. A lane restriction with flagging is scheduled for December 14-18, from 7am to 3pm.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces will be performing brush cutting in Marion Township on 422 between Rehrersburg Road and Sheridan Road. A lane closure is expected westbound beginning December 14-18, from 7am to 3pm.
