PennDOT Upcoming Roadwork Projects in Berks 2/15/21

PennDOT maintenance forces and private contractors are consistently working on roads in Berks County. To help our readers avoid travel delays, here are a few of the most notable roadwork projects scheduled next week.

PennDOT Maintenance Forces will be working on brush cutting on Spies Church Road in Maidencreek Township between Friedensburg Road and Silver Swallow Road. A daytime lane restriction with flagging will begin February 16th from 7am to 3pm.

PennDOT Maintenance Forces will perform litter removal on US 222 in Richmond Township between Schuler Road and Hilltop Road. A daytime lane restriction both directions will begin February 18th from 7am to 3pm.

PennDOT Maintenance Forces will perform Brush cutting on Antietam Road in Alsace Township between Magnolia Lane and Pricetown Road. A daytime lane restriction with flagging will begin February 19th from 7am to 3pm.

PennDOT Maintenance Forces will perform crack sealing on Perkiomen Avenue in the City of reading between Chestnut Street and 23rd Street. A daytime lane restriction with flagging will begin February 16th through the 17th from 7am to 3pm. Inclement weather may delay this project.
