PennDOT maintenance forces and private contractors are consistently working on roads in Berks County. To help our readers avoid travel delays, here are a few of the most notable roadwork projects scheduled next week.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces will be working in Douglass Township on 422 between Old Airport Road and Montgomery County Line for Pothole Patching beginning April 14, 2021. A lane restriction is expected between 7am and 3pm.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces will be working in Cumru Township on Route 625 between Philadelphia Avenue and Alleghenyville Road on April 15, 2021 for drainage repair. A lane restriction with flagging will begin 7am to 3pm.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces are scheduled to work on Route 724 in Spring Township between Penn Avenue and River Bridge Road on April 16, 2021 for drainage repair. A lane restriction with flagging will begin 7am to 3pm.
Litter removal crews are scheduled work on Route 724 in Robeson Township between Gibraltar Road and Jackson Street. A lane restriction with flagging will begin 7am to 3pm on April 16, 2021.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces Are scheduled to work on Route 724 between Kennel Road and Valley Stream Road for Shoulder Work/Widening on April 16, 2021. A lane restriction with flagging will begin 7am to 3pm.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces have little removal crews scheduled for Interstate 78 in Tilden Township between Exit 23 (Shartlesville) and Exit 35 (PA 143) on April 14 through April 15, 2021. A lane restriction eastbound will be in place from 7am to 3pm.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces will be performing brush cutting in Richmond Township on Maidencreek Road between Moselem Springs Road and Pleasant Hill Road on April 16, 2021. A lane restriction with flagging is expected between 7am to 3pm.
PennDOT Maintenance Forces will be performing street sweeping in the City of Reading on Route 12 between West River Drive and 5th Street on from April 11 through the 15th. A lane restriction westbound is expected. Street sweeping will take place at night, between 7pm and 5am.
