The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for portions of southeast Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday.
Forecasters say west winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour, with gusts reaching up to 45 miles per hour, are expected throughout the day.
The strong winds could create hazardous conditions, particularly for drivers of trucks, vans, and other high-profile vehicles. The weather service warns that tree limbs may be blown down, and scattered power outages are possible. Unsecured outdoor objects, such as decorations, trash bins, or patio furniture, could also be displaced.
Residents are urged to secure outdoor items and use extra caution if traveling during the advisory period.
